Traveling in Style

Darlings, whether you've chartered a private jet or you're flying coach, it's important to be both chic and comfortable when you travel.  This post contains CC's essentials for what to wear on the plane, what to bring in your carry-on, and how to look and feel fabulous while traveling.

If you're just taking off on a short weekend jaunt, CC is a big advocate of just carrying on, rather than checking, luggage.  But if you must lug a big suitcase, make it a beautiful one!
T. Anthony large structured suitcase; this and next at barneys.com.

Identify your bags in a bold way with a Pierre Hardy cube-print luggage tag.

If you're just staying overnight, opt for this Moncrief perforated leather weekend bag;
this and next at net-a-porter.com.

For international travel, try this Dolce & Gabbana floral-print PVC passport cover.

Stay organized and keep your fabulous footwear from getting mixed in with the rest of your luggage by using a pretty Hudson+Bleecker travel shoe bag, at shopbop.com.

Stow your makeup and brushes in this Chloe Marcie cosmetic pouch, at barneys.com.

Stay plugged in in style with this Diane von Furstenberg faux textured-leather case and travel adapter,
at net-a-porter.com.

Stow all your beautiful baubles in this three level jewelry box, at shopbop.com.
CC has and absolutely adores!

Stay comfy on the plane in a perfect pair ofRag & Bone/JEAN midrise destroyed skinnies,
at intermixonline.com.

And this Isabi essential vest is wonderfully soft and perfect for layering.  Shop at isabi.com.

Pack or wear this Duffy draped cashmere cardigan...  You never know what temperature the plane is going to be.  Plus, this chic little topper can double as a cozy pillow in a pinch.
This and next two at net-a-porter.com.

There's no need to wear your sky-high platforms on the plane... particularly since you will probably be doing a lot of walking in the airport.  Plus, feet tend to swell when you fly.
CC likes these Chloe Lauren leather ballet flats.

Whether you wear it or just have it on hand as a blanket, a scarf is a travel essential!
Try this Chan Luu cashmere and silk-blend scarf.

Get a little nap in by wearing this soft and luxurious Mary Green silk eye mask, at shopbop.com.

Be sure to pack a classy cover-up.  Even if you aren't going to tropical climes, it's nice to have a robe on hand in the hotel, in case there are no fluffy white terry numbers.  CC is smitten with this Melissa Odabash Coleen zebra-print chiffon kaftan.  This and next at net-a-porter.com.

Lastly, bring a bathing suit!  Your hotel is bound to have a pool, or at least a hot tub.
If you're just bringing one, make it a classic, like this Charlie by Matthew Zink Frankie underwired bikini.
What are your travel essentials, darlings?
xoxox,
CC

I actually just got a new sleep mask and bag tag from Willow & Clay and they're great for traveling. But now I want that D&G passport cover!

I love the look of the gingham dress with petticoat being showcased whilst debarking the plane in the first image. I also love your list of comfortable, practical and stylish couture and accessories for traveling. The layers of comfy clothing are a great idea since temperatures can vary so much from departure to arrival locations. I've never managed to sleep on a plane but then again I've never tried one of those adorable Mary Green silk eye masks! The bikini and Melissa Odabash Coleen zebra-print chiffon kaftan are a pretty combination. Your traveling in style suggestions are excellent.
